His professional background is comprised of positions in marketing and strategy as well as corporate learning in consumer goods, telecom, technology, consulting and banking sectors. Originally from the US, he moved to France to do his MBA and has lived and worked in Strasbourg, Lyon, Brussels, Copenhagen and Paris which he now considers home.

Subject: The role of learning in transforming organizations and making them more agile

Caroline is currently working as an L&D strategy consultant for global pharmaceutical and life sciences giant AstraZeneca. Prior to that she was the Group Head of Learning and Development at Thomas Cook Plc a company which was, until recently, the world's oldest and best-known name in travel but now sadly in liquidation. Her passion for learning can be traced back to her first role as a specialist sales and service trainer for the global insurer AXA. Since then she has gone on to work in senior L&D and consultancy roles for some of the biggest and best-known blue-chip companies including Prudential Plc, Churchill Insurance, and ComparetheMarket.com.

As a multi-award-winning learning and development specialist, and she loves getting people excited about everything she's excited about and right now that's putting the patient at the heart of workplace development - and everything in tech!

Her firm belief is in the development of customer-centric digital skills, which is why she is currently developing a new Digital and Data Academy at AstraZeneca. The academy will support the development of enterprise-wide digital literacy - one of four enterprise capabilities defined as being critical to the successful delivery of AstraZeneca's Global 2025 strategy - "Delivering Growth Through Innovation".

In addition to being a learning specialist, Caroline is a full-time working mum, a self-confessed lover of dance music and she's recently taken up Tai Chi, which has definitely helped her get some balance in a very busy life.

Vaclav Koranda is Vice President Human Resources and member of the Board of Directors at T-Systems Malaysia. He has got his first HR Director role at the age of 27. Since then, he has held a number of executive roles in Human Resources, namely in the ICT industry. For a significant part of his career his role also included regional responsibility, mainly for the region of Central/Eastern Europe. Before joining T-Systems Malaysia, he was the VP HR at T-Systems Czech Republic. He also served as a member of the Sector Council for IT and Telecommunications in Czech Republic.

Vaclav holds a Master's Degree in Work & Organizational Psychology from Charle's University in Prague and is also a certified PRINCE2 Practitioner, Certified Human Resource Practitioner (CHRP) and a SHRM Senior Certified Professional. He is a member of Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management as well as Organisation Development Network Malaysia. In 2018, he received a "CHRO of the Year" award from Employer Branding Institute in India. In 2019, he was named under "101 Global HR Heroes" by the World HRD Congress in Mumbai and also received the HR Leader 2019 award from Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management.

Sean previously served for three years as Cognizant's Head of Academy for North America where he led all aspects of the North American learning strategy for Cognizant including Sales, Professional Skills, Consulting, M&A and digital workforce transformation.

All of those experiences led her to her current role leading Global L&D at DPR Construction where she is enjoying building on the already strong learning culture foundation: learn something new every day….share what you learn.
